At 9:24 AM Limerick Fire Department was dispatched for a residential fire. Limerick Police arrived on location with fire showing.
Chief 51 took command on arrival and ordered Engine 51 and Ladder 51 to the front of the house. Engine 66 laid a supply line from the hydrant. Engine 51's crew led off with a handline for exterior attack with heavy fire on the front of the house. After the initial knock down, crews were able to access the interior and make fire attacks on the first and second floors, as well as ventilate the roof. Assisting were Trappe Fire and Ambulance Company, Perkiomen Fire Company, Lower Fredrick Fire Company, Upper Providence Fire Department, Collegeville Fire Company and Royersford Fire Department.
