Approximately 4:19am Friday morning the department was dispatched to the 100 block of Wentworth Circle for a vehicle accident with injuries. Within two minutes the Montgomery County 911 center upgraded the call to a vehicle rescue. Upon arrival crews located a SUV on its side with one occupant inside. The first arriving crew stabilized the vehicle with Paratech struts and wood cribbing to prevent any movement during extrication. The crews removed the windshield and part of the roof to free the occupant who was later transported by ground to a local hospital. The roadway was then cleared of debris and fluids and the department went available.
