Thursday evening around 6 p.m., Limerick Fire Department was dispatched for a CO alarm activation. On arrival crews found the residence was unoccupied and attempted to gain access by checking doors and windows. Neighbors advised the homeowner was on her way back from work and the Department waited for the home to be unlocked. Crews investigated and determined there was a bad detector.
