936pm Limerick Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle rescue on Ridge Pike at the entrance to the Botanical Cottages. The crews from Rescue 51, Engine 51 and Squad 51 were able to get the door opened for the driver to get out of the vehicle and cleaned up the debris on the roadway. Fire police assisted in traffic control. The road was shut down throughout the night for Peco to fix the pole and restore power.
