Around 1:00 p.m. on February 25, the Limerick Fire Department was dispatched for Tanker 51 to assist Kimberton Fire Company Station 61 (Chester County) with a structure fire in East Pikeland Township. There were 2 homes that had heavy smoke showing upon arrival. Crews worked together to extinguish both fires. During this time, Ladder 51 stood by at Liberty Fire Company in Spring City.
