| At 9:31 pm, the department was dispatched to a motorcycle accident on the Ridge Pike ramp between Masters Dr and Rupert Rd. Rescue 51, Engine 51, Squad 51, Assistant 51, Deputy 51, Freedom Valley EMS, and Limerick Police responded. Upon arrival, Deputy 51 observed the severe condition of the motorcyclist and requested a helicopter. Squad 51 and Engine 51 were directed to the Heritage Airport to prepare a landing zone for JeffSTAT. Freedom Valley EMS and a few Limerick Firefighters worked to provide care to the patient before heading to the airport. Special Service 51 was dispatched for lighting, and the Ridge Pike ramp was closed for the duration of the police investigation. |
