At 2:48 am, the Limerick Fire Department was dispatched to assist New Hanover Station 37 on a reported vehicle rescue on Swamp Pike. One occupant was reportedly trapped inside the overturned vehicle due to airbags. Captain 51 and Lieutenant 37 arrived at the scene shortly after dispatch. The occupant was able to safely exit the vehicle from the back window with assistance and had no significant injuries. 51 units were recalled and made available a short time later.
