At 9:21 pm on December 26, the Limerick Fire Dept, Lower Frederick Fire Co, Perkiomen Fire Co, Skippack Fire Co, and Trappe Fire Co were dispatched to a building fire on N Limerick Rd. Reports stated there was visible smoke in a barn. Crews investigated upon arrival and found the cause to be electrical in nature. All were made available within the hour. This was Limerick Fire Dept's fifth call of the day and the other calls of the day consisted of a building fire assist in Lower Frederick, a fire alarm, a vehicle fire, and a fire investigation.
