| At 9:52 am on November 13, the department was dispatched to a vehicle accident with injuries on S. Township Line Rd. Callers reported a vehicle went off the road and into the woods. Upon arrival of police, it was determined that the driver was trapped, at which time the incident was upgraded to a vehicle rescue. Crews arrived and used rescue tools to open the passenger door to extricate the driver. They then used a stokes basket to carry the driver out of the woods and into the ambulance where they were transported to a local hospital. Once the tow truck arrived and removed the vehicle, all units were made available. |
