At 12:48 am on November 12, Limerick Fire Department was dispatched to assist Upper Providence Township at a vehicle rescue on Ridge Pike in front of the Wawa. Rescue 51, Special Service 51, Deputy 51, and Fire Police 51 responded to the scene. The driver of one of the involved vehicles was trapped and rescue tools were used to free the driver before transporting the individual to the hospital. The operator of the other involved vehicle was also transported to the hospital.
