Department Attends First Responder Appreciation Sunday at Trinity Lighthouse Church

On Sunday, October 20, members of the Limerick Fire Department and Limerick Police Department attended a first responder service held at the Trinity Lighthouse Church in Limerick. A meet and greet was held before the service with the crews visiting with the church members and showing them Rescue 51 and equipment. Pastor Wayne Houck gave a sermon titled "Good News Rescue" based on the Biblical passage Colossians 1:9-17. A special prayer was also offered up for all first responders and their families. The department appreciated the invite and hospitality and looks forward to returning in the future!
