On the very warm September afternoon of the 14th, members of Limerick Fire Department attended Limerick Community Day. Rescue 51, Squad 51, Ladder 51, Utility 51, Marine 51, ATV 51 and Command 51 and Trucks were on display. While senior members responded to a fire call, junior firefighters were instructed on how to properly fold the American Flag. Sparky made the rounds visiting other vendors as well as members of the public who were in attendance.
