At 6:17 pm, the department was dispatched for a building fire on Limerick Center Rd. Ladder 51, Squad 51, Spring City Engine 62, Royersford Engine 98, Assistant 51, Chief 98, Chief 51, and Limerick Fire Police responded. Residents reported a smoke condition in their basement. Crews arrived and investigated, finding a burnt sump pump in the basement. The assignment was held to Limerick Fire Dept and all other companies were available. After ventilating the residence 51 crews were available.
