At 9:54 am, the department was dispatched for a vehicle accident at the intersection of Kugler Rd and Ridge Pike. Rescue 51, Squad 51, and Fire Police responded. Limerick Police and EMS units from Freedom Valley, Friendship, and Goodwill responded as well. Crews assisted with clearing the roadway of debris, directing traffic, and securing the batteries of the involved vehicles. Once the tow trucks arrived and began removing the vehicles from the scene, crews were made available within the hour.
