At 8:27 pm, Limerick Fire Department was dispatched for a building fire on Hickory Grove Dr. Reports stated there was fire in a bedroom. Ladder 51, Squad 51, Rescue 51, Engine 51, Special Service 51, Field 51-1, Field 51-2, Utility 51-1, Utility 51-2 and Assistant 51 responded. Sanatoga 58, Trappe 68, and Perkiomen 66 also responded as well as multiple EMS and police units. Crews arrived and quickly extinguished the fire before doing overhaul. Fire Police assisted with traffic and crowd control. Fire Police from Perkiomen and Trappe Fire Company Responded as well. Crews were in service for almost three hours before being made available. The fire is under investigation by the fire marshal.
