Crews went once again to the Whiskey Girl Saloon for Monday night training which was focused on Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) response and FAST board rescue. Crews went through the process of searching and locating a downed firefighter and using the RIT pack to give the victim air before taking them out of the building. The junior and cadets learned about the Field units, the purposes of the various pieces of equipment used and how to efficiently contain and put out a field fire. During training, the department was dispatched for a building fire in the township.
