At 2:06 pm, the Limerick Fire Department was dispatched for a tree fire at One Point Nursery. Reports stated that the tree had been struck by lightning before catching fire. Engine 51, Captain 51, and Fire Police responded. Crews worked quickly to lay a line and extinguish the fire. All were made available within thirty minutes.
