At 1:01 pm, Limerick Fire Department was dispatched for a four-vehicle accident on Township Line Rd. Three cars and one unoccupied school bus were involved; one trapped, three injuries. The accident was upgraded to a rescue after the driver's door of a pickup truck could not be opened. Engine 51, Rescue 51, Squad 51, Chief 51, Command 51 and Fire Police 51 responded as well as a few Police and EMS units. Fire Police from Station 98 and Station 68 responded to assist with traffic control and shutting down roads. Crews arrived and began utilizing rescue tools to free the driver in the pickup truck, checking patients, and clearing debris and fluid from the roadway. All were made available over an hour later.

Squad 51 also responded to a gas odor on Queens Lane during the accident call.
