During the Department's monthly ropes and riggings training, crews were dispatched at 10:20 am for a vehicle fire on 422 EB. While en route, the scene was upgraded to a vehicle accident and no vehicle fire. Rescue 51, Squad 51, Engine 51, Chief 51, Command 51, and Fire Police 51 responded. Firefighters cleared debris and stabilized the vehicle. While trucks were headed back to the station Limerick Fire Department was dispatched at 11:04 AM to a three-vehicle accident on 422 EB, less than a mile from the previous accident scene. Rescue 51, Squad 51, Engine 51, Field 51, Command 51, Chief 51, and Fire Police 51 responded. Sanatoga Fire Company assisted on the scene and staged their engine just off of 422 if needed. Fire Police aided in shutting down 422 EB while the firefighters worked on the emergency scene.
