At 4:22 PM, while the water rescue team was assisting in Upper Providence and the remaining firefighters were setting up to assist at Waltz Golf for the annual 4th of July fireworks The Limerick Fire Department was dispatched for a large field fire off of Linfield-Trappe Road. Engine 51, Rescue 51, Field 51-1, Field 51-2 and 51 Fire Police responded. Assisting LFD were Engine 77 , Tanker 86, Utility 86, Field 66, and Tanker 66.
