Limerick Fire Department was dispatched around 6:40 p.m. for a vehicle accident with injuries on Limerick Center Road. Squad 51, Ladder 51 and Fire Police responded to the call. Assistant 51 arrived on location and found a small dump truck that struck a guardrail and tree. Fire Police were ordered to close the roadway. On arrival crews from Squad 51 and Ladder 51assisted with securing the vehicle, clearing debris, and controlling leaking fluids. The Department stayed on location, until the towing service was able to lift the vehicle over the guardrail, securing and removing the vehicle.
