Limerick Fire Department was dispatched for a multi-vehicle accident with injuries, on westbound Route 422 around 3:30 this afternoon. The incident occurred just past the westbound on-ramp at the Limerick / Linfield exit and blocked the right lane. Rescue 51 responded along with Fire Police, Trappe Ambulance and Royersford Ambulance. The crew from Rescue 51 assisted with securing the vehicles, clearing debris and controlling fluids, while Fire Police closed the right lane and directed traffic around the scene.
