February 26, 2022

LFD was dispatched to a Carbon Monoxide detector activation at 3:24pm on Graterford Road. Ladder 51 and Engine 51 responded and crews investigated.

Carbon Monoxide is poisonous gas known as the invisible killer. You can’t see it or smell it, but it can hurt people who breathe it. This poisonous gas can come from many sources. Don't hesitate to dial 911 if your Carbon Monoxide detector is going off so that our crews can come out with their specialized equipment to investigate.
