January 30, 2022

Limerick Fire Department was dispatched at 11:22 a.m. for a water rescue. On arrival crews found a single vehicle in a pond that had broken through ice with one subject inside. Water and Ice Rescue personnel, along with Limerick Police Officers utilized an inflatable boat to assist in extricating the subject in the vehicle. The victim was removed and treated by EMS. Ice rescue members then assisted connecting the vehicle to be removed by the towing company. The incident is under investigation by Limerick Police.
