| What is your most memorable incident? |
Betz's barn fire on Neiffer Road - my first large incident as fire chief in 1982. Large three story barn was fully involved upon arrival of first engine. We were able to save another structure about 20 feet away. Of course the engine suffered some damage to fresh paint, but that was fixable. It was great to see the support I had from my firefighters and surrounding companies. |
