At 6:54 pm, the department was dispatched to an odor of gas at a residence gas meter on Homestead Ln. Squad 51 and Assistant 51 responded. Crews investigated and found a small leak in the gas meter and PECO was on scene a short time later to take care of the leak. All were available about 30 minutes later.
