Ladder 51 was proud to be part of moving Montgomery County's 18-foot 9/11 Memorial, which incorporates a steel I-beam from the World Trade Center's North Tower, it was successfully relocated today in a seven-mile commemorative procession from Eagleville to its new permanent home at Elmwood Park in Norristown.Montgomery County officials and community volunteers completed the transport of the monument to increase public accessibility ahead of the upcoming 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks.The relocation paves the way for a formal public rededication ceremony later this month.
