| At 12:04 pm on January 24, Engine 51, Tanker 51, and Assistant 51 were dispatched to assist Upper Frederick Fire Company with a working house fire on Faust Road. Assistant 51, Tanker 51, and Engine 51 responded. Tanker 51 was directed to the Perkiomen Valley Middle School, which served as the fill site, to assist in the Tanker Task Force.
Engine 51 and Assistant 51 went directly to the scene. The Engine 51 crew pulled a line and went in service on the A and D sides of the house, working to extinguish the fire and hotspots interior crews could not reach due to a compromised floor in that section of the house. Once 51 crews completed their assignment, they were made available over an hour later. |
