At 4:16 AM on November 16, the department was dispatched to a single-vehicle accident at the intersection of N Township Line Road and Tanglewood Drive. Dispatch reported that the driver was unresponsive. Police arrived before fire personnel and found the driver unconscious, prompting an upgrade of the incident to a vehicle rescue at 4:23 AM.

Rescue 51, Squad 51, Deputy 51, Chief 51, Fire Police, and FVMR ambulance responded to the scene. The crew of Rescue 51 quickly stabilized the vehicle using chocks and then performed a door pop with spreaders to safely extract the driver from the vehicle. Once the patient was transferred to EMS care, the crews secured the car and cleared debris and glass from the roadway. The patient was transported to a nearby hospital, and as soon as the tow truck arrived to remove the vehicle, all units were made available within the hour.
