At 2:59 pm on December 19,, the Limerick Fire Dept was dispatched to a report of a kitchen fire on Tavistock Dr. Limerick crews responded as well as firefighters from Royersford, Spring City, and Upper Providence. Captain 98 from Royersford arrived and stated that there was smoke showing from the residence. The fire was quickly extinguished before it could do significant damage. All incoming companies staged on Tavistock Dr and assisted with ventilating the smoke from the house with fans. The Limerick Fire Marshals also responded to investigate. All were made available from the incident within the hour.
