The final day of the 2021 Youth Firefighter Camp arrived and the Cadets were excited to put the skills they have learned throughout the week to the test. The “Rescue Drill” had arrived. The Cadets assisted with extraction of a victim, packaged a patient for transport, established a landing zone, landed a helicopter and loaded the patient for flight. After the simulated incident the Cadets were able to get an overview of the PennStar helicopter and ask the crew questions. Limerick Fire Department would like to send a special thank you to PennStar and their crew for their participation in this years camp.

After the rescue drill, the Cadets were ready for a pizza party to celebrate the end of an awesome week of camp. During the party all the participants were presented certificates and thanked all the volunteers who help throughout the week.
Then came the water fun !!!!!!!!!!!

Limerick Fire Department would like to thank all the volunteer group leaders who assisted this week. Finally, a thank you to all the Limerick Fire Department volunteer firefighters who gave their time to help make the camp possible this week.
