The third day of the Limerick Firefighter Youth Camp had the Cadets learning plenty of new skills and equipment familiarization. Stations taught today included (1) proper use and operations of portable fire extinguishers, (2) providing water supply by connecting to fire hydrants, (3) Calling and utilizing 9-1-1 for emergencies, (4) operating hose lines and packing and rolling hose, (5) basic rescue tools operations and (6) familiarization with the boats and equipment for water rescue operations.
