Ice Rescue Emergency Response Training

February 13, 2021

On Saturday February 13th 2021, a few of our members completed their training for their Ice Rescue and Emergency Response -NFPA 1670 Technician Level certification. Our members began their training early last year but due to the lack of ice from the mild winter they were unable to complete the practical part of the training. There were also several teams from other area water rescue teams that completed their trainings as well. A special thank you to the instructors from Keystone Water Rescue for their perseverance in getting our members through the training.

At Limerick Fire Department, our members continuously train to learn new skills and reinforce others. We train for all types of Emergencies not just fire. Our members are well trained and certified in many disciplines such as Vehicle, Rope and Water Rescue to name a few.

If this sounds like something that interests you or you would like more information, please email us at info@lfd51.org and we will be glad to answer your inquiries
