Equipment fire inside commercial building

A machine operator noticed flames coming from the top of the machine while it was running which was filling the warehouse with smoke. A 911 call placed and the Limerick Fire Department along with an Engine from the Royersford Fire Department were dispatched to the location. Deputy Chief 51 quickly arrived on location reporting a fire contained to the motor area while machine operators were trying to extinguish with a smoke condition inside the building. Upon arrival, the crew from Engine 51 secured the machinery with lock out tag out kit and removed the intake and exhaust screen to verify that fire was out, while Engine 98 and Ladder 51 ventilated the warehouse.
