After 17 years of service to Limerick Township, Supervisor Elaine DeWan is retiring. December 17, 2019 was her last meeting as a Supervisor. Elaine served the Township with honor and care for all residents and businesses within the community. In her tenure as Supervisor, she was very supportive towards all emergency service organizations and personnel servicing Limerick Township. At last evenings meeting the care and support was turned around to show how much she was appreciated by these organizations. Limerick Police, Limerick Fire Department and Trappe Ambulance provided an escort for Elaine and her husband to her final meeting. After the business meeting was conducted, Elaine was presented several accolades and thanks for her support and service to Limerick Township.
