The second day of the week long Firefighter Youth Camp held more fun and learning for the the cadet participants. Today the cadets learned about ground ladders, aerial truck operations, tanker operations, K9 dog demonstration and confined space rescue. Limerick Fire Department would like to thank Perkiomen Fire Company for bringing Tanker 66 and assisting in the tanker operations, Trappe Fire Company for bringing Ladder 77 and assisting with the aerial operations. The Department would also like to extend a special thanks to Pennsylvania State Trooper Ryan Trego and K9 Smith, from the Skippack Barracks for their time and demonstration today.
