Sunday, December 16th, the township fire companies were dispatched for an appliance fire around 3:00 pm. Chief 54 arrived on location and upgraded the call to a structure fire. Engine, Tower, Rescue, Squad, Ladder, Air and Engine 77 (Trappe Fire Company) responded. Crews arrived on location with heavy smoke throughout the house.
