Early Morning Building Fire on Masters Dr, Limerick

October 6, 2:41 am: Companies were dispatched to a report of house smoking and a floor and stove on fire on Masters Drive. Deputy 51 arrived first at the scene, investigated, and reported a working kitchen fire. Assistant 51 assumed command upon arrival. Engine 51 was the first due engine and immediately pulled a line and made entry, making a quick knock on the fire. Quint 58 arrived as first due ladder, and the 58 crew set up ground ladders around the house. 98 and 69 crews assisted with ladder deployment. The assignment was held to units on scene shortly after. Trappe Ladder 77 was assigned to temporarily standby for the duration of the incident at the Limerick Station. RFIT1 was dispatched to the scene, and several area fire marshals arrived to investigate the origin and cause of the fire. Fire operations were completed within the hour.
