| September 21, 11:49 am - The department was dispatched to a reported building fire on Swamp Pike late Monday morning, with initial reports stating a couch was on fire due to a battery issue. Engine 51, Ladder 51, Chief 51, Chief 58, Limerick Fire Marshals, Limerick Fire Police, Trappe Fire Police, Squad 68, Engine 77, and Ladder 98 responded. Chief 51 assessed the situation and held it to 51 and 77 units. Fans were placed at the doors of the residence to ventilate the remaining smoke inside. All were made available about 30 minutes later. |
