| At approximately 1:50 PM on August 8, the Limerick Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle fire near the intersection of W. Ridge Pike and Royersford Road. The crew from Engine 51 arrived and quickly extinguished the fire. While crews worked to extinguish the vehicle, additional Limerick units inspected a nearby structure located approximately 20 feet away. Burning debris from an explosion inside the vehicle had landed on the building’s roof. Crews inspected the structure to ensure there was no additional fire or damage. Fire police assisted with traffic control throughout the incident. |
