Three Calls for the Fire Police and Making Furry Friends

June 16, 2026

On June 17, the fire police were dispatched to assist with traffic control at three different calls. The first was a vehicle accident involving a trailer with animals inside on S Township Line. Fire Police kept the southbound lane closed until all vehicles were removed. While waiting for another trailer, the fire police got a chance to meet some furry friends who were on their way to the YMCA for a camp! None of the animals or human occupants were injured during the accident.

As fire police were returning to the station, Traffic 51-2 crews came upon two large tractor-trailers attempting to make a left turn onto Linfield-Trappe Rd from Royersford Rd. Due to the complexity of the intersection, fire police held traffic on all sides so the trailers could make the turns, making this the second call. Finally, while again returning to the station, fire police were dispatched to assist 58 fire police at an accident on Evergreen Rd and Rupert Rd. All three of these calls occurred within a two hour period.
