| At 7:09 pm, the Limerick Fire Department was dispatched to a reported vehicle rescue on Country Club Rd. Chief 51, Assistant 51, Rescue 51, Engine 51, Trappe Engine 77, Limerick Police, Limerick and Trappe Fire Police, and Freedom Valley EMS responded to the scene. Upon arrival, Chief 51 confirmed that a single occupant was trapped inside a vehicle that was resting on its side. The occupant was uninjured. Fire crews quickly stabilized the vehicle and, since the driver was not hurt, they were able to safely assist him out of the car using a Little Giant ladder. EMS personnel then evaluated the driver as a precaution. The tow truck arrived promptly and removed the vehicle from the scene. Fire Police had temporarily shut down Country Club Rd between Linfield-Trappe Rd and Ridge Pike for the duration of the incident. All were made available at 7:54 pm. |
