| The Limerick Fire Department was dispatched at 11:57 am to assist Sanatoga Fire Company, Ringing Hill Fire Company, and Pottstown Fire Department with a backyard grass fire that had quickly spread to neighboring yards. Engine 51 and Tanker 51 responded. The Sanatoga, Pottstown, and Ringing Hill crews made quick work of extinguishing the fire prior to any Limerick units arriving at the scene. Limerick crews arrived shortly thereafter and assisted with packing hoses and checking for any hot spots. Limerick units were made available about thirty minutes later. |
