The volunteers of the Limerick Fire Department had a very busy day to start the month of May! The department responded to a total of seven calls on May 1. The hectic day began with a fire alarm at Bengal Converting Services on Main St at 12:34 a.m. Then the calls throughout the day included a woods fire on Northwood Ln, a vehicle accident on Ridge Pike, and a vehicle accident on Evergreen Rd. These were followed by two gas odor calls, one at John Kennedy Mazda and the other at a residence on Oak Creek Dr. The final call for the day was a carbon monoxide detector alarm at 6:55 p.m. at a residence on Airport Rd. |
