Members of Limerick Fire Departments' water rescue team joined Upper Providence Township Department of Fire and Emergency Services for a joint training on emergency boat operations skills on September 15. Also participating were Trappe Fire Company, Friendship Fire Company Diving-Rescue Unit and Collegeville Fire Company. The training had simulated eddy turns, a slalom course, practicing an English gate maneuver and standing by as a safety boat, while other crews took turns on the course.
