At 9:19 am, the department was dispatched for vehicles on fire at the Auto Rescue on Swamp Pike. Engine 51, Tanker 51, Utility 51, Engine 37, Tanker 37, Engine 68, and Tanker 66 responded as well as Fire Police from 51 and 37, Limerick Police, and EMS units. Crews extinguished the fire a short time after arrival. One patient was transported to a hospital by a JeffSTAT helicopter. All were available about two hours later.
