In addition to the Departments weekly training, the Department also holds a specialized rescue training one Sunday a month. March's monthly training had over a dozen members attend and participate. Today's training focused on setting up and use of the Paratech Monopod system. The Monopod can be used for rescue applications for high angle rescues, confined space rescues and trench rescues. The members trained on using and anchoring off a truck and using and anchoring it off the ground.
