Limerick Fire Department proudly supported and participated in the Montgomery County Hero’s Fund 5K Brew and BBQ fund raising event at Lower Providence Fair Grounds. Tower 51 and Tower 53 created a ladder arch over the main stage, displaying the American flag. The event began with a 5K race and then the First Responder BBQ competition. There were live bands throughout the day and fun activities for all those who attended. The Montgomery County Hero Fund is a nonprofit corporation established to assist immediate and ongoing relief and services to Law Enforcement Officers, Military Personnel, Firefighters, Emergency Medical Personnel and responders or their loved ones as a result of a tragedy on duty or in service of the people of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

Limerick Fire Department would like to congratulate all the competition winners and thank all those who came out for the event to support the Hero's Fund.
