Shortly after 1:00 p.m. The Limerick Fire Department was dispatched for a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles on South Limerick Road. Crews responded with Engine 51 and Utility 51. Chief 51 arrived on scene and found an SUV and dump truck involved and advised incoming units that fluid control and debris clean-up was needed. Upon arrival, crews quickly cleared debris from the road and utilized absorbent to control leaking fluids from the truck. Fire Police kept South Limerick Road closed between East Cherry Lane and Linfield Trappe Road until the tow service was able to remove the vehicles involved. |
