Members of the Limerick Fire Department conducted a township wide fire hydrant scavenger hunt. The members were divided into groups on the various apparatus and given a sheet with five hydrants to locate. The sheet provided a brief description of a possible location, advised the crew they had to flush the hydrant, determine the response Box Number and describe any potential hazard in the area. The drill had non-officers sitting in the front seat trying to identify the hydrant location and provide the apparatus driver directions. The firefighters could use the truck computers or run books to identify locations. The evening ended with a trip to Waltz's for some ice cream.
